Cypress and Western Red Cedar Board and Batten shutters can vary in board width and the number of vertical boards specified. Our standard wood offering utilizes a 1¼” board for both the horizontal and vertical members. Shutters made with exterior grade composite, utilize 1” material. Boards are attached with stainless steel screws from the back side of the vertical boards. We recommend that Board and Batten shutters over 42” in height be constructed with 3 horizontal boards.

Decorative cutouts and carvings are available to only your imagination. Board and Batten shutters can be customized to meet your expectations. You can select the number of boards or battens to a special width, gaps, bevels and cutouts.

Below we have included some standard designs as well as suggested options for our standard flush stile & rail louvered shutters with 1 7/8” x 3/8” louver slats. For any other designs or options, please call for a quote.
