Southern Crafted Millwork is a division of The Building Center, which was founded in 1984. Jim King, who has over four decades of experience in the millwork industry, oversees the development of “hand crafted” specialty millwork products. With our investment in quality millwrights and modern milling equipment, Southern Crafted Millwork is positioned to provide the highest level of service found in the Carolinas with five servicing locations. Our commitment is to create specialty millwork products that have “Enduring Performance and Lasting Beauty.”

OUR MISSION
Our mission is to produce “special millwork products” that add value to form and function. We currently offer custom wood and composite shutters, custom new & reclaimed mantles, Vector Art 3-D engraving, storage and organizational cubbies, pvc columns, reclaimed barn doors, Western Red Cedar rafter tails, wood corbels, architectural braces, rustic wood brackets & outlookers, and a wide variety of flooring and timber products made from both new and reclaimed white oak, walnut, red oak, heart pine, and wormy chestnut.
